Refund Policy

1. Scope of this policy

This policy covers professional service fees invoiced by ObjectCraft under a signed proposal or statement of work, and any pass-through costs we incur on your behalf. It does not cover goods sold by a manufacturer or reseller.

2. Deposits

The 40% kickoff deposit reserves studio capacity. It is fully refundable if you cancel in writing within 7 days of payment and before work begins. After work begins, the deposit is applied against hours already performed and any unused balance is returned.

3. Cancellation mid-phase

If you cancel during a phase, we invoice for work completed to that date plus non-cancellable commitments (model shop materials, booked laboratory slots, travel already ticketed). Amounts paid above that figure are refunded within 15 business days. Work in progress is delivered in its current state.

4. Non-refundable items

• Completed and accepted phase deliverables
• Tooling, mould and fixture payments made to vendors on your instruction
• Certification, laboratory and testing fees already incurred
• Travel and accommodation booked with your written approval

5. Deliverables that do not meet scope

If a deliverable does not meet the written scope, notify us within 10 business days of delivery with specific points. We will correct it at no charge within an agreed timeframe. If we cannot bring the deliverable into scope after two revision rounds, you may request a refund of the fee for that deliverable. Dissatisfaction with an approved design direction, or changes to requirements after a phase gate, are handled as a change order rather than a refund.

6. How to request a refund

Email info@emberos.store with the project name, invoice number and the reason for the request. We acknowledge within 3 business days and issue a written decision within 10 business days. Approved refunds are returned by the original payment method.

7. Statutory rights and disputes

Nothing here limits mandatory consumer or commercial rights available under the law of [Jurisdiction]. Unresolved disputes are handled under the governing law and forum stated in our Terms of Service, namely [Jurisdiction].
