Sketch to first production run, under one roof.

Engage us for a single phase or the whole program. Either way, the same designer and engineer stay on it from kickoff to golden sample.

Industrial design

Positioning research, form language exploration, ergonomic studies and appearance models. Delivered as a defended direction with surfaced CAD, not a mood board.

8–12 weeks

Mechanical engineering

Parametric CAD, internal layout, snap and boss design, tolerance stack-ups, thermal and drop analysis, and full 2D drawing packages to ISO GPS.

12–20 weeks

CMF and materials

Colour, material and finish systems with real supplier references: Pantone and RAL targets, texture plates, coating specifications and recycled-content figures.

4–6 weeks

Prototyping

Urethane and machined appearance models, functional bench rigs and pre-tooling short runs in cast urethane or CNC for pilot users and certification.

Ongoing

Design for manufacturing

Draft, wall thickness and parting-line review, mould flow interpretation, vendor quote analysis and a costed bill of materials before tooling release.

3–5 weeks

Production oversight

Factory qualification, tool trial attendance, first-article inspection, golden sample control and a defect log maintained through the first production run.

How a program runs

  1. 01 · DiscoveryTwo to three weeks. Users, constraints, volumes, target landed cost.
  2. 02 · DesignForm exploration to a single approved direction, validated on physical models.
  3. 03 · EngineeringCAD, analysis and drawings taken to a release-ready data pack.
  4. 04 · ToolingVendor selection, T1 through T3 trials, golden sample and production sign-off.

Engagement and pricing

Phases are quoted as fixed-fee blocks against a written scope, invoiced on a 40 / 40 / 20 schedule. Longer programs can run as a monthly retainer covering a designer, an engineer and model shop time. Tooling, travel and vendor costs are passed through at cost with documentation.

Industries we know well

Consumer audio, kitchen and home appliances, hand tools, furniture hardware and non-sterile medical enclosures. We are comfortable with UL, CE and IEC 60335 paths, and we will say clearly when a program needs a specialist we are not.
